Weekend Tournament Update: $1 WSOP Seats at Bodog
By Joe Zusman | June 15, 2007
For two days only, online poker room Bodog.com is awarding seats to the 2007 World Series of Poker Main Event for as little as one dollar, provided you don’t need to re-buy.
On both Saturday and Sunday, June 16 and 17, Bodog is hosting two gigantic tournaments, each with at least one $10,000 seat (plus $2,000 spending money) in the WSOP Hold’em World Championship event up for grabs. The buy-in for each is only single dollar, without even an entry fee. Thus, Bodog is not even making money off of this.Players will be able to re-buy as many times as they would like until the first break and then may purchase one add-on.All re-buys and add-ons are also a dollar. There is a maximum capacity of 5,000 entrants for each tournament.
The next Moneymaker could be in one of these tournaments, but Moneymaker had to spend $40 to get into the Main Event. At one dollar, this is a bargain.
