Anyone who has played poker at UltimateBet.com for any length of time knows how ridiculous its UltimatePoints store is. After playing hours upon hours upon hours of poker, a customer can purchase a valuable baseball cap. Play a little more, and a poker book, which is much more easily simply bought at a store or ordered online, can be yours.

Not satisfied with those items? Step up to the next level of the store and grab yourself a nice vacation. But wait, you’ll have to be a high roller and possibly play for years to get any of those. Good times.

Finally, it looks like UltimateBet may be bringing its store up to snuff. Nothing has been changed yet, but on the store’s page on the UltimateBet website (not in the software), the company has posted a message which reads “All New UltimatePoints Store Coming Soon!”

It’s about time.
