It took Swedish player Starderi all of 2 hands Heads up to put the exclamation mark on a remarkable performance, with a $60,000 first prize victory in the October 12 edition of the Party Poker $300,000 Guaranteed Prize Pool No Limit Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament.

1,437 entrants comprised the October 12 $200 + $15 buy-in tournament, initiating the Party Poker overlay mechanisms to a tune of greater than $20,000 yet again.
Post-flop play dominated the final table with an astonishing 49 flops seen in only 93 total hands dealt. Also notable was the pre-eminence of two segments of the increasingly international poker community: with seven of the total ten players at the final table playing under the banners of either Sweden or the United Kingdom, this was the first Party Poker 300K final table in more than two years to lack a Russian, German or Canadian player.
