PokerStars Helping Poker Players Alliance

In an effort to boost memberships to try to hit the million member goal, the Poker Players Alliance (PPA) and PokerStars have formed their own alliance.PokerStars is holding a series of freeroll tournaments through September 13th to promote the poker lobbying organization.
Each freeroll features a $5,000 prize pool and will run three times each night, at 8:05pm, 9:55pm, and 11:05pm ET.Every player who enters one of the tournaments will be automatically signed up for a free introductory membership in the PPA.Information such as name, address, e-mail address, and date of birth will be provided to the organization.
PokerStars customers who are already members of the PPA are not eligible to play.Additionally, anyone who has ever played in a PPA freeroll at PokerStars is ineligible.
