PokerStars is celebrating yet another milestone as they draw closer to dealing their 25 billionth hand. For the next few days PokerStars will be commemorating the event with their 25 Billion Bash. As part of the party, Stars is offering a number of promotions ranging from a reload bonus to WSOP packages to cash prizes.

The festivities kicked off when the 24.85 billionth hand was dealt, and will continue until they reach the 25 billion mark. Along the way, PokerStars will be awarding cash prizes every millionth hand. If a player is lucky enough to be seated at the table where one of the jackpot hands is dealt, they are eligible to win anywhere from $125 to $2,500 depending on what stakes they are playing. The winner will receive the largest cash prize, but all of the players involved in the hand will receive a piece of the money.

For the milestone 25 billionth hand, the site will be offering an even bigger prize. The winner of the “Mega-Milestone” hand will receive a cash prize of $100,000 as well as entries into the 2009 EPT Monte Carlo event, the 2009 World Series of Poker Main Event, the next World Championship of Online Poker, and the 2010 Poker Stars Caribbean Adventure. The rest of the players involved in the hand will split $100,000 in cash and prizes.

In addition to the Milestone Hand Prizes, PokerStars is also adding money to their regular multi-table tournaments. On Sunday February 15th they will be adding $1 million to the Sunday Million tournament prize pool, bringing the guarantee for the tournament up to $2.5 million. The Sunday Warm-Up will also see a boost to its guarantee. Stars will add $500,000 to the prize pool to up the guarantee to $1.25 million.

The revved up Sunday Million will also be featured in the premiere episode of PokerStars’ new television venture, The Online Poker Show. The weekly show will be hosted by Nick Wealthall and David Tuchman, and will feature highlights and recaps from the Sunday Million and other major Sunday tournaments. The show will air Mondays on the site’s internet television channel, PokerStars.tv. The first episode will air on February 16th.

Finally, the site will offer reload bonuses on deposits from now until February 18th. Those who make a deposit to their account this week will be eligible for a 25% bonus on any deposit up to $250. Be forewarned, there are additional terms and conditions in order to redeem the bonus money. First time depositors are eligible for 100% deposit bonus on amounts up to $50 and will also be able to enter in a number of freerolls running this week. From Sunday the 15th through Sunday the 22nd there will be three freerolls a day with a $2,500 prize pool in each event. First time depositors can play in as many of these freerolls as they would like during that time.
