Poker After Dark Welcomes New Host for Season Four

Looks like it will be one and done Marianela Pereyra as host of NBC’s Poker After Dark. The show announced this week that this year’s National Heads-Up Poker Championship host, Leeann Tweeden, will take over the reins of the nightly show next season.
The Virginia native began her television career as a Star Search spokesmodel, but got her big break when she landed a role on ESPN’s popular workout show, Fitness Beach. She has appeared in many health, fitness, and lifestyle magazines, including FHM and Maxim.
While she grew up in a racing family, Tweeden did not enter the mainstream sports world until 2002, when she made the transition from being a guest to a full-time cast member of Fox Sports Net’s The Best Damn Sports Show Period. In 2005, she became the host of the SPEED network’s NASCAR Nation show.
Tweeden currently lives in Los Angeles and is pursuing a degree in political science.
