Now that the Genius promotion has come to a close, PartyPoker has rolled out a new promotion for the month of August. The new promotion, entitled Card Rush, rewards players based on how many PartyPoints they accrue at real money cash game tables over the month. Card Rush participants can win anything from entries into special Card Rush freerolls to extra PartyPoints to cash prizes up to $50,000.

Beginning on August 3rd participating players will earn a Card Rush Card for every twenty PartyPoints they rack up on their PartyPoker account. PartyPoints are part of the rewards system currently in place on PartyPoker. Players earn points based on how many hands they play at a cash table or how many dollars they pay in registration fees to participate in a tournament. For example, a player earns 2 PartyPoints for every dollar spent in tournament fees and earns 10 PartyPoints for every 40 hands they play at a $.50/$1 cash game table. For the Card Rush promotion only points earned playing at the cash game tables are eligible.

Once a player earns the required twenty points, they can go to their player account to uncover their newly earned Card Rush Card. Each card has a one in three shot of being a winner according to PartyPoker’s official website. Once a prize is redeemed, it should take an hour or less for the prize to appear in the winning player’s account. The contest does not require participants to redeem their PartyPoints in order to receive their cards and those points will still be eligible to be redeemed in the site’s online store. However, those points will not count towards loyalty rankings or player bonuses.

There is no limit to the number of cards players can earn, but the promotion will end either when one million cards have been distributed or at 11:59PM ET on August 31st. Participants will have until September 1st or twenty four hours after the millionth card has been given out to redeem any unrevealed Card Rush Cards. If players do not reveal their cards during this time any potential prizes will be forfeited.

The site is giving everyone a leg up on the promotion by rewarding players with their first card after earning only ten PartyPoints on the site. Additionally, they will be awarding entries into two freerolls scheduled to take place on September 5th. One has a guaranteed prize pool $10,000 and kicks off at 12PM ET while the other has a $5,000 prize pool and begins at 3PM ET. PartyPoker’s website did not reveal any details regarding how many freeroll entries or much prize money would be rewarded over the course of the Card Rush promotion, but it did specify that the largest prize rewarded would be $50,000.
