The Microgaming Poker Network has added two more rooms to its stable: MamaMia Poker and Globet Poker.While the network has remained U.S.-friendly post-UIGEA and has taken in several online poker rooms which wanted to continue serving U.S. customers, it does not appear that either of these rooms accept American players.

MamaMia poker, a division of Chilean-based MamaMia Gaming, will concentrate its marketing on Chile and Argentina.As it grows, it plans to target all of South America and eventually Europe.

Globet Poker is a venture by Globet Casino, which made the switch to Microgaming’s casino software in June 2006.Globet focuses on the Central and Eastern European markets.

Despite its role as a safe harbor of sorts for U.S.-friendly casinos, Microgaming has struggled to keep up with the leaders in the internet poker arena.While dozens of poker rooms share Microgaming’s tables, it is only the twelfth-largest poker network on the internet, according to PokerSiteScout.com.
