By Joe Zusman | December 10, 2007
The headline of the article says it all.Online poker room PokerStars has made Mac users very, very happy by releasing a new version of its software for the oft-neglected segment of the poker playing population.
The software client is still a beta version, but it is almost as complete as the standard, PC version.Mac users, as of now, will not be able to use the Preferred Seat feature or the Layout Manager, but these aren’t very important features, so it shouldn’t be too big of a deal to most players.
Those who want to use the new software must be running Mac OS X 10.4.10 or later. The minimum system configuration is as follows:
• PowerPC G4 or G5 or Intel Mac
• 512MB RAM
• 1024×768 screen resolution or higher
• 60MB free disk space
• 56k dial-up Internet connection
