Join the PPA, Have Full Tilt Pay for It
By August Darnell | February 20, 2007
It is no secret that online poker is under attack in the United States. There are not many people speaking up for poker players, but one group that is is the Poker Players Alliance (PPA). Currently, the lobbying group is attempting to get poker an exemption from the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act that was signed into law this past fall. If this were to happen, the flood gates would open back up for U.S. players to play and fund poker accounts however and whenever they want.
But the PPA will not be effective without the support of voters. The bigger the organization’s membership is, the more elected officials will pay attention.
Full Tilt Poker wants to get one million people to join the PPA and is willing to pay for everybody’s membership. By signup up for the PPA through Full Tilt’s website, Full Tilt Poker will award players with an exclusive bonus which will equal or eclipse the membership fee. Of course, the bonus must be earned through play, but it is well worth it.
There are five levels of membership, with fees ranging from zero to $1,000. Those who signup for the free membership will not receive a bonus, but will still get an entry into a freeroll for all new members. Those who contribute $1,000 will receive a $1,000 bonus, while everyone in between will receive a bonus that is at least double the membership fee.
For all of the details, including bonus amounts and playthrough requirements, visit Full Tilt’s special PPA page here.
Remember, to get the bonus, you must signup through the links on that page. The offer ends March 5.
