Recent Survivor castaway, Jean-Robert Bellande, has been added to the roster of Team Bodog.Of course, he is known in the poker world for much more than simply being on a television show.
Poker fans first got a taste of Bellande’s high energy, talkative style at the poker table when he made the televised final table of the 2005 WSOP Circuit event at the Rio in Las Vegas. He placed third behind Jennifer Harman and Doug Lee and took home $210,900 for his work. That same month, he bested John Phan at the Winnin’ O’ the Green at the Bicycle Casino, winning $148,000.He followed those two finishes up the next month with a second place effort in the $2,000 no-limit hold’em event at the WPT Five-Star World Poker Classic.
In all, Jean-Robert Bellande has won over $767,000 on the tournament circuit.
The other members of Team Bodog include Josh Arieh, David Williams, and Evelyn Ng.
