If so, you can play in KickOffPoker.com’s new tournament, billed as the most expensive multi-table tournament in the world.Well, at least a world that doesn’t include brick and mortar poker.
KickOffPoker.com, an online poker room on the 24h Poker network, will host a €5,000 ($6,800) no-limit hold’em tournament on the first Sunday of each month. The lone exception is September, which will push the tournament to the ninth in order to give players a chance to qualify via satellites. The only online poker tournament that could be considered more expensive is the $10,000 High Stakes Showdown on PokerStars.com, but it doesn’t really fall into the same category, as it is a heads-up tournament with only sixteen entrants.
Satellites will run every day except Thursdays and the days of the €5,000 event. For €60, one in ten players will win a seat into the weekly €550 super-satellite.Similarly, one in ten players in the Thursday €550 super-satellite will win a seat into the €5,000 tournament.
