Full Tilt Releases Software Update
By Kevin Felix | February 29, 2008
Full Tilt Poker released a fairly major software update on Thursday, adding several new features for which players had been asking.Full Tilt had actually been lagging behind other poker rooms when it came to some very basic features, so it is good that many have finally been addressed. The software itself still looks the same, except for some minor changes to the cashier screen, but with the additions, customers should enjoy their games more at Full Tilt.
Here are the new features:
•Players may now receive tournament dollars for tournament buy-ins if those buy-ins were earned via satellite.Players simply need to unregister from the tournament.
•Auto top-off – in cash games, players can make sure their chip stacks are always at a minimum level. If they fall below this level at the end of the hand, the software will automatically bring the stack back to the desired level, provided there are enough funds in the player’s account.
•Color-coded player notes are now visible from the lobby.
•Sit-out next blind – this is only at speed tables.Upon return, the player is put in “waiting for big blind” mode.
•12-hour self-exclusion is now an option for those who need a short break from poker.
•No more chat during all-ins.
•No more observer chat at final tables, except for the Full Tilt pros.
•More time to post blinds.
