Full Tilt Releases FTOPS XVII Schedule

Full Tilt Poker’s quarterly poker series, the Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS) is just getting ready to kick off for the 17th time and as such, the poker room has released this summer’s schedule. Running August 4th through August 15th, FTOPS XVII will consist of 34 events, four more than last time, and will feature $19 million in guaranteed prize pools.
As has been the tradition, Full Tilt Poker will award bonus prizes to the top finishers in FTOPS XVII. Everyone who makes a final table in any tournament will receive a special FTOPS jacket. Event winners will get the jacket, plus a gold FTOPS jersey and gold jersey avatar to use on the virtual tables. And finally, the player who sits atop the FTOPS leader board when all 34 events are completed will win a customer Full Tilt avatar and a buy-in to every FTOPS XVIII except for the two day event.
The “Bouncebackability” Freeroll returns, as well, giving the bubble boy in each event a chance to win a buy-in to the FTOPS XVIII Main Event.
As one would expect, Full Tilt is holding scads of satellites so that players can earn seats in the different events at discounted prices. If a player wins more than one satellite for a given event, he will receive tournament dollars (T$) equal to the dollar value of the entry. As an added bonus, the player who wins the most satellites to a specific event will win an extra two buy-ins worth of T$ and the player who wins the second most will one one buy-in worth of T$.
MiniFTOPS will once again run a month later, featuring 34 tournaments that will mirror FTOPS, except at one-tenth the price. All final tablists will receive a MiniFTOPS jacket, event winners will win the jacket and a silver MiniFTOPS jersey, and the leader board winner will get that same FTOPS buy-in prize package that the FTOPS leader board winner will receive.
