Full Contact Poker Without Negreanu?
By Adam Ulick | May 4, 2007
As strange as it sounds, online poker room Full Contact Poker may lose its founder and leading man.His contract with the company is drawing to a close and he is said to be fielding offers to be a pitchman for a different poker room.
Brian Balsbaugh, CEO of Poker Royalty, Negreanu’s management firm, told Casino City Times, “We haven't made any decisions but likely will soon.”While that is not absolute confirmation that Negreanu will leave Full Contact, it is pretty close.
After the Ongame Network shut its doors to U.S. customers, Full Contact Poker moved to the Digital Gaming Network, becoming that networks first “name” poker room.Unfortunately, it is still the only big name on the network, which has only a handful of poker rooms in its stable.
