On February 1st, Party Poker will hold its first ever Monthly Million tournament at 12:45 ET (17:45 GMT). This new Party Poker tournament is held on the first Sunday of every month and guarantees players a $1 million total prize pool. The Monthly Million tourney features a championship blind structure and the buy-in is $640.

Players can also get into the Monthly Million through satellites and qualifiers such as the $68 daily satellite where a total of 18 Monthly Million seats will be given out. There is also a $55 Mega Friday tournament that gives out 30 seats as well as a $35 Super Saturday Satellite where 30 Monthly Million seats are up for grabs.

Party Poker has been heavily advertising their Monthly Million tournament and they are expecting a big turnout. A spokesperson for the room believes the tourney provides great value to players and said, “The countdown is on to our $1,000,000 Sunday. There are plenty of ways to get a piece of the action and see a great return for only a very small investment.”

Hosting the Monthly Million tournament is just one of the many recent changes at Party Poker. The room has just improved their rewards program in order to simplify it and allow players to earn more poker bonuses. The biggest change to the Party Poker rewards program is that people now only have to worry about playing poker hands and earning PartyPoints. Before, players had to deal with a complicated rewards scheme where there were various kinds of points in addition to PartyPoints.

Another great thing about the revamped rewards program is that players will be able to get more cash with their PartyPoints. People used to not get much cash back when redeeming their PartyPoints, but this change ensures players will be getting a better deal now. Plus people will be able to purchase various Party Poker bonuses; something that couldn’t be done in the past.

Those who play a lot at Party Poker will especially see the benefits of an improved rewards program since there is a new Palladium Lounge. If a person earns 5,000 PartyPoints a month they will be eligible for a host of new benefits including:

• Exclusive leaderboard races and non-deposit reload bonuses.
• Entry into special tournaments.
• VIP treatment.
• Over 30% more rewards and bonuses than regular members receive.

Those who wish to enter the Monthly Million or take advantage of the new and improved Party Poker rewards program can do so at any moment, since these promotions have already started.
