PokerStars is taking the battle against AIDS to the felt.This year, the poker room is serving as the exclusive poker sponsor of the 15^th annual Life Ball, Europe’s largest charity event, dedicated to the fight against the horrible disease.Now, PokerStars is giving its players an opportunity to win a trip to the May 26 event in Vienna, Austria.

Over the next couple weeks, PokerStars will host a daily “AIDS Charity” freeroll at 2:00pm eastern time, allowing up to 2,000 players a chance to qualify for one of two charity finals, to be held May 6 and May 20.The top twenty-seven finishers from each preliminary freeroll will make the finals.

The winner of each of the two finals will win a Life Ball travel package which includes two tickets to the Life Ball, roundtrip travel to Vienna, and hotel accommodations.Additionally, these two players will get a chance to participate in a celebrity charity poker tournament at the Life Ball.The winner of that tournament will receive the honor of presenting a $100,000 check to Life Ball for PokerStars.

On top of the $100,000, PokerStars will contribute one dollar for every participant in the preliminary freerolls.
