Everything in Moderation
By Kory Travers | September 19, 2007
Alcohol is good for you, but in moderation. Our bodies need fat and sodium, but in moderation.Everything in moderation…even the internet.
On Saturday, a 30-year-old Chinese man fainted while sitting at a computer in a Guangzhou a cyber café.To the horror of the hundred or so people who witnessed it, he actually died.Heart attack?Aneurysm?Choke on a pretzel?Nope.Apparently, he expired as the result of exhaustion from a three day online gaming binge. That is correct. He was playing games online for three days straight.
Nobody knows what exactly he was playing, but it shouldn’t surprise anybody if the U.S. government gets wind of this and uses it in the war against online poker.Because, you know, poker kills.
