So you play poker at bet365.com.You played there Sunday night, went to sleep, and woke up Monday jonesing to play a few hands.You logged on to your bet365 account and, to your surprise, it looked different.Really different.There were more players online and now there were all sorts of new tournaments.What in the world?

Well, unbeknownst to those who didn’t check their e-mail, bet365.com migrated from the Microgaming network to Playtech’s iPoker network, joining the likes of Titan Poker, Noble Poker, and CD Poker.

Surprisingly, the UIGEA has been quite kind to iPoker, even though it closed its doors to U.S. customers.The network has grown quickly in just two years, largely in part to its ability to absorb competing rooms and networks who were unable to compete after losing American players.iPoker’s biggest pickup was the Tribeca network, which was home to popular poker rooms, Golden Palace Poker and Doyle’s Room.According to PokerSiteScout.com, iPoker ranks only behind PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker, and Party Poker in cash game traffic.
