Bart Simpson to Host Poker Charity Event

Well, not exactly.He is underage, after all.Not to mention the fact that he is a cartoon.In reality, the voice of Bart Simpson, Nancy Cartwright (who also serves as honorary mayor of California’s North San Fernando Valley), has invited poker players, celebrities, and the general public to her home on September 29 for the second annual Monte Carlo night to benefit the Devonshire PALS (Police Activities League Supporters) Youth Center for at-risk children.
Jamie Gold, T.J. Cloutier, Susie Issacs, Steve Dannerman, Jennifer Harman, Marco Traniello, Todd Brunson, Kenna James, Mel Judah, Daniel Negraneau, Liz Lieu and Johnny Chan have all said they intend on playing in $500 buy-in poker tournament.Brad Garrett, Chris Masterson, Danny Masterson, Laura Prepon, Marisol Nichols, Bruce Davison, Patrick Cassidy and Chris Slade are among the many celebrities who will hit the felt.
Other celebrities who will attend but not necessarily play are Anne Archer, Catherine Bell, Camryn Manheim, Sinbad, Julie Kavner, Isaac Hayes and Bryan Cranston.
In addition to the poker tournament, there will be dinner and dancing, contests, and an auction.Also open will be the Zino Platinum Smoking Lounge, Aha Toro Tequila Bar, and a martini bar.
As stated above, a $500 donation is required to play, but people who would like to simply mingle with the stars can donate half that to gain entry to the party.
