Pipeline Open Between Absolute and UltimateBet

Home >Poker News >2007 >August >Pipeline Open Between Absolute and UltimateBet

Date: August 22, 2007
By: Dan K.

Online poker rooms Absolute Poker and UltimateBet have announced that their customers now have the ability to move money between the two rooms, essentially allowing players to have one combined Absolute/UB bankroll.

The transfer option is in the cashier of each room and is processed like a normal withdrawal.  Instead of choosing a cashout via check or EFT, however, players can choose to transfer to the other poker room.  These transfers can go to the player’s own account or to another player.  If the inter-room transfer is to another player, the customer sending the money must enter the first and last name, as well as the nickname of the target account.  This should prevent accidental donations to unintended recipients.

All transfers will be reviewed by poker room staff, just as any withdrawal would be, and should show up in the receiving account within 48 hours.  Absolute Poker has said that for those people transferring money to friends at the last minute to play in a tournament, the poker room will try to approve the transfer requests as quickly as possible.

Inter-room transfers must be at least $50 and no more than $5,000.
