Microgaming Pulls Licenses from 28 Poker Rooms

Microgaming, provider of the software platform for dozens of online poker rooms and casinos, issued the following statement Wednesday:

Microgaming announces that it has terminated its software licence with Tusk Investment Corporation - with immediate effect, after having received Tusk's notification of its plans to put the Company into liquidation.

Microgaming is presently gathering all facts related to this matter and will provide further announcements as and when information becomes available.'

As a result, customers at the sites listed have been unable to play.  According to representatives of some of the above poker rooms on the Two Plus Two message forum, the pulling of the licenses happened so quickly that they do not even have any information to pass along to their customers. 

It is unknown at this time what will happen to customer funds, although Microgaming has bailed out players on a couple of past occasions.
