888 Holdings Looks Good at Year End

Slowly but surely, many online gaming companies are climbing out of the abyss created by the loss of U.S. customers stemming from the UIGEA in 2006.  888 Holdings, operator of internet poker stalwart, Pacific Poker, as well as Casino-On-Net, is no exception.

2007 was 888’s first full year with no American players, and compared to its 2006 with those customers removed, its net gaming revenue was up 36 percent to $213 million.  The fourth quarter revenues, year-over-year, increased a very impressive 55 percent.

Pacific Poker, specifically, saw its revenues grow 18 percent for the year.  888 Holdings feels confident that revenues can double and profits triple by 2010.
