Full Tilt Online Poker Series Returns Today

Tonight marks the beginning of the fifth installment of the increasingly popular Full Tilt Online Poker Series (FTOPS).  And it starts off with a bang – a $216 no-limit event whose half-million dollar guaranteed prize pool is sure to attract a boatload of players.  There are only four other events with a greater guarantee.  All told, Full Tilt Poker has guaranteed at least $7 million over the course of the one-and-a-half week series.

Each tournament will also be “hosted” by a member of Team Full Tilt.  Phil Gordon, no stranger to hosting poker events, will kick things off tonight.  2006 WSOP runner-up and National Heads-Up Poker Champion Paul Wasicka is the Main Event host.

In addition to the prize money for each tournament, Full Tilt is also some fun bonus prizes, including gold FTOPS jerseys, gold FTOPS avatars, FTOPS jackets, and FTOPS baseball caps.

Satellites are available for those who do not wish to shell out the entire buy-in.
