Earn Points, Choose a Tourney at Party

Home >Poker News >2007 >September >Earn Points, Choose a Tourney at Party

Date: September 27, 2007
By: Dan K.

It’s not as amazing as Party Poker makes it out to be, but it’s still something for essentially nothing.  From September 26 through September 30, Party Poker is giving away entries to freerolls in its new “Pick Your Prize” promotion.

During those dates, simply play at Party Poker and earn PartyPoints at the real money tables.  Depending on how many you earn, you will have your choice of “prizes” from which to pick.  Now, the prizes are only freeroll tournaments, and thus, essentially just a “chance” at a prize, but if you would normally play at Party Poker, anyway, you might as well take advantage of the promotion.

Earn from 15 to 75 points, and you nab an entry into a $2,500 “Pick Your Prize” tournament.  76-100 earns a seat in the $5,000 tournament.  There are also $7,500, $10,000, and $15,000 freerolls on the way to the $25,000 tournament for earning at least 500 PartyPoints during the five day period.

You do not have to keep earning points throughout the five days.  You can stop at any time and “cash in” your points in a lower level tournament if you do not want to work your way up the ladder.

The “Pick Your Prize” tournaments will be held October 1 and October 2.
