Bodog Launches 2008 WSOP Freeroll Series Seat Giveaway

It’s a long shot, but it’s still a shot.  If you want the opportunity to wade through thousands of opponents to win a single free seat to the Main Event of the 2008 World Series of Poker, head on over to Bodog.

On Thursday, Bodog began its 2008 WSOP Freeroll Series Seat Giveaway, which will run through the end of the month.  It’s fairly simple.  Four qualifiers will be held each day for up to 5,000 entrants.  Cost: 5 Bodog Poker Points (you get 50 just for creating a new Bodog account).  The top 25 players in each make it to the Final Tournament, where the winner gets the seat.  If every possible qualifier plays in the Final, there will be 3,100 entrants.

Date:  4 times a day, every day from May 1st to May 31st
Time: 9am ET, 3pm ET, 9pm ET, 3am ET
Players:  5000 max per tournament
Buy-In:  5 Bodog Poker Points
Prizes:
1st – T$29 in order to buy into a Main Event Quarterfinal
1st to 25th – Top 25 players in each WSOP Seat Giveaway Qualifier will be invited to play in this “WSOP Seat Giveaway Finale”
26th to 50th – T$1.50 in order to buy into a Main Event Cheap Seat

Date:  Saturday, June 7th
Time:  5:05pm ET
Players:  3100 max (25 players per Qualifier X 4 Qualifiers per Day X 31 Days)
Buy-In:  Freeroll – Top 25 players in each WSOP Seat Giveaway Qualifier will be invited to play in this finale
Prizes:   
1st – $12,000 WSOP Prize Package to be part of Team Bodog
2nd to 5th – T$270 in order to buy into a Main Event Semifinal
6th to 10th – T$109 in order to buy into the $100K Semifinal
