Antonio Esfandiari Hired by WPT

In 2002, Antonio “The Magician” Esfandiari performed at the press conference where the World Poker Tour announced its launch.  In 2004, he won the L.A. Poker Classic, becoming the sixth player to win over a million dollars on the World Poker Tour.

Now, in 2008, Esfandiari will represent the 84 players who have reached that winnings plateau, as he becomes the face of the WPT Poker-Made Millionaires.  In this role, he will offer up poker tips and tricks via the web through blogs, WPT Live Updates, and videos.  He will represent the World Poker Tour at live poker tournaments around the globe, starting this month at the even that made him famous, the L.A. Poker Classic.
