2008 WSOP Dates Set

While the official schedule is yet to be determined, Harrah’s Entertainment has already announced the dates for the 2008 World Series of Poker.It will run approximately a month and a half, from May 30 through July 17.Harrah’s was not planning on making the announcement just yet, but the company had received so many inquiries that it decided to let the cat out of the bag.
Geno Iafrate, vice president and assistant general manager of the Rio, said that WSOP tournament room will actually open on May 26 so that players can register early.One of the biggest complaints during the first week of this year’s WSOP was that the lines at registration were unbearably long.
