By Joe Zusman | December 12, 2007
Harrah’s Entertainment has announced the official schedule for the 2008 World Series of Poker. It will consist of 55 events, running from May 30 through July 16.The Main Event will last two weeks and the big $50,000 H.O.R.S.E. event will run five days.
There will be eight opportunities for players to buy-in for $10,000, while at the other end of the spectrum, there are eight “cheap” tournaments, which cost only $1,500 to enter.
And to the relief of many, there will be no poker played in a tent next year.
