Who's the player in this family?

My wife kicks ass. She got a 4th place finish last night in a $15 MTT w/about 1100 people at Paradise. I have not seen a final table in a couple of months. I cautioned her against playing. Since we got back from our trip, we've both been sick, running fever, and exhausted. She said she had a feeling and was going to play anyway.
Hell, I get feelings too, but its usually just gas.

At least someone in the family is winning!
I have been trying to teach my mom to play Hold-em and we got a "family game" up at our last family reunion. I got a mid pocket pair and raised it. My mom called me and we went to the flop. K-10-10.
I did a continuation bet and mom raised me. I called. Turn is another 10. I have a Boat, but what does mom have?? I figure she probably doesn't have a 10 since there are 3 on the board so I bet again and she re-raises me. After much consternation, I call. River is a J. I check and mom goes all-in. I fold and mom shows me her Ace high....
