Geez a week and a half and the whole world falls apart without me.

Yes, I've been very busy, but I'm always busy (just happen to be busy at the computer, so I can browse the forums all day :lol:

).

I've been out of town in Syracuse, NY doing some work related things and some non-work related things.

I'm going to be in Philadelphia this weekend so y'all just better get used to me not posting until next week :lol:

All 6 were all purchased as used computers, or built from parts, and all run WINXP w/service pack2.

I now have them networked on a router, on a 100 mbps cable connection. I used to have dialup accounts for some of them...now all on the same internet connection.

Specs Ranges...

Processors: 800mhz to 1.3ghz
Memory: RAM 256 to 512
Space: 7.14 to 40 GB

A former bf used to buy computer parts and build computers to sell. He set me up with 4 computers when the newer one I used to own, started smoking, sparking, and wheezing before it rolled over and stuck its feet up in the air like a dead parrot. Since then I have had one die (trashed it after playing with it and cussing at it for a few days...got great pleasure from smashing at it with a very large hammer outside first) and I bought 3 more used ones. (There are used computers for sale all over the place around here.) I had to reformat one once, and brought one back from nearly dead once...probably just got lucky there. (It still makes weird beeping noises whenever I restart it, and constantly warns me that the hard drive is failing...it has been doing that for about a year now. I keep using it without problems.) I currently have 6 working and hooked up. I have one other that works but is not plugged in. (It is a 7th WINXP and I keep it around as a spare, though I may give it to my current BF to use...since his current one seems to have had a heart attack.)

I have a few parts here and there, in boxes. I have about 10 working monitors (3 in boxes). I have quite a few extra keyboards and mouses (mice?) and various other compute type stuff around, boxed up. (I have a HUGE house.) Occasionally my ex-boyfriend still comes around to beg for a part. LOL.

In addition to all that, I have an old WIN 98 computer that still works when I plug everything in. I have a WIN MILL computer that still boots up but has a very noisy fan. I have a few recipes stored on it, and a couple old games, chess, etc. I have an old WIN95 computer; but, the last time I tried booting it, it sort of coughed and stalled out part way through the boot. I boxed it up for a while so it could rest up. I will try it again next year. LOL.

I like to multi-table, but on a different site and different computer for each table.

What can I say? I am a nutty girl! Luv pokah, though!

Do you have a KVM to switch between them or just a whole bunch of mice piled up?
