What's this

I'm playing along nicely in a few tables at $0.25 $0.5 all of a sudden I realise the dynamics have changed, all of a sudden about three or four players are regularly Raising & Reraising almost every pot......meaning that my Top Pair Top Kicker is very often beat by two Pair, Full house etc.....
It works both ways of course, If I'm patient and Pick a Nice Drawing hand like JKs or any High suited Connectors these guys Juice the Pot up really nicely, I just won few Big Pots tonight from them tonight .....putting me ahead after initially falling behind with these guys...with my single Top Pair.........I was so pleased with my self I raised with rags, something like 47o and ended up with a straight, I also noticed by calling them down that they were very often Bluffing on the river.....?EG I had 77 Board had 9 9 Q or something like that, I know statistically I can ignore the 9's most of the time but the Q was a worry of course.....but these guys go blasting away and eventualy I just call and they have Nothing.....
Normaly I'd Fold with two Over cards and more than One opponent of course but I reason
four of a kind dont happen too often and I cant belivethese guys raised and reraised with 9 anything.....AQ is an obvious possibility....
but ..........
The point of this posting is it was really weird that these guys were so reckless, I know its only Micro Limit but......at the same time it was very intimidating, I would normally go in to this limit with $5 I know thats not regarded as enough but Im playing 4 tables and theres just enough action if I sit and wait for Premium hands......that I vert rarely have to reload..
These Guys made each hand I played so expensive I had to reload several times which almost never have to do..
Ive read about Collusion, where three or four players team up and do this sort of thing.....driving up the pot.......Any body else experienced this and how do you deal with it........happened to me twice, each time I was able to pull ahead after initially losing a couple of $5 racks.....Basically I worked out that High suited Connectors are better in this situation than a single top pair...because of the possibility for two Big Pairs flush's or straight's ......
Has anyone else come accross this, its really weird all of a sudden the pots go from 3 or 4 dollars to 15 - 20 Dollars......
Maybe I'm paranoid but it does resemble what Ive read about collusion....luckily Ive been able to deal with it and wait patiently for a good position and the right cards and If I flop well just ignore te constant reraising and take it all the way to the river .....
but losing $20 in about 15 mins at these levels is unnerving,,...normally I'm trying to win that each night......
Usually the pot is so big and I will have a decent hand anyway, its worth a call on the river, despite several reraises from them.....
Anyway, has anyone else experienced this.......or am I paranoid....I was tempted to leave that room but decided to stay and try limping in and trapping them which eventually I did.......but even this was expensive & difficult without late position,
Normaly at these tables there might be a single raise and lots of callers, these guys were Reraising Reraises !!! often with rags.....

Well you pretty much highlighted all the reasons I play the type of game I do:
Play extremely tightly from the blinds, UTG and UTG+1, and any reasonable (suited one or two gap connectors, suited aces or strong offsuit aces, any pair, strong unsuited connectors like QJ) from the CO and button, always raising.
As for collusion, just leave the table. Even if collusion isn't happening, the table conditions don't seem profitable unless you change your game style.

If you really think they were colluding, tell the poker site what table and what time you were playing and your concerns. They will research it and see if there is a pattern. Could be some people blowing off steam, could be that's how they always play...could be a couple different things.
Kudos to staying and trying to adjust your game. I would have left the table, but that doesn't teach you anything. At the very least, you know you can handle this situation if you're playing in a situation where you can't switch tables (playing live or something).
