flop :Jc: :8c: :6c: this puts me at 97% favourite , turn :Js: this puts me at 83% favourite , at this point only 4 cards will win the lot the rest will either split h/l or give me the scoop . river... :9h:


What the hell , this game is statistically f@:ded . i raised on flop , raise on turn had 76 chips left on turn , called lost :/ what u think

Omaha is extremely high variance, especially the hi/lo variety.

Your equity calculations are exactly correct. You by far have the best hand and based on his preflop hand selection and flop action, he is not an experienced Omaha/8 player. You just got unlucky this time, but you got your money in good which is what matters most. In the long run you should come out way ahead as long as you keep up this solid play!
