Tough Night of live NL cash.

I post the good so I’ll post the bad as well.
Played about 3.5 hours last night of the $1-$3 NL game. It was a little short handed most of the time and I knew each of the players at the table. I’d say they are all above average players who like to play a lot of hands (especially short) and are very aggressive.
Hand I won: Early on I flopped a nut flush and thought I played it very well. I re-raised the flop bet and called the blank turn bet representing the Ace of whatever suit it was. River made his straight and he paid me off pretty good. Said he thought I had TP with flush draw. Up $100 or so at this point.
Gave it back: Different player raises the standard amount ($8) on the button. I call with A9 from the BB. Flop comes AK5. I check. He continuation bets and I raise to $25. He calls and I assume a turn bet takes it. I bet $50 and he instantly re-raises to $120 or something. Hmmmmmm. All I remember is that the turn was another heart (the J I think) and I could only think he may have nailed his KK or JJ. Possibly 55, AK, AJ or even KJ. The heart made me think he was slow playing but didn’t want me to back into a flush or st with AQ or AT. Very possible he was bluffing with a King plus the flush/st draw but not worth my stack. Of course all I had was A9 so I had to lay it down. Nice bet by him if he was bluffing. He claimed a set later but I don’t necessarily believe that.
I only bought for $100 so with blinds and rake I’m now down to $70 or so. I had a re-load of $120 in my pocket but didn’t know if I wanted to keep going or not yet. The kid who re-raised me was running extremely hot and kept nailing flops. He also caught AA and some nice starting hands. Regardless, I picked up A7 in a blind and saw a flop of AAK. The same kid leads out for $10 and I raise him again. Again he just calls. I push a blank turn (I only had $45 more into a $70 pot) and he calls with AT. Another peanut f’n card let’s his Ten kicker play and I bust out. Tough one in a short game.
I end up re-buying because despite my bad run I’m not tilting at all and have a pretty good peg on the table.
I proceed to swing and miss with every hand I play for the next hour. AJ, AK and AK all miss and face action on low boards. Lost about $25 combined. I lay down 55 to an all in who showed me 66. just a tough night. Down to $60ish again I call $12 from LP with JTs and everyone in the pot. That’s right. 6 people called $12. I had to play it.
Flop comes KQ3 rainbow. EP leads out with a block/building bet of $15. One caller, I call and the small blind raises to $40. Big blind calls, as does EP!!. Let’s do the math.
6 X $12 = $72
3 X $40 + $30 = $150
So of course I push my last $35 or so in to make about $230 with an open ender and almost 7-1 odds.
I’m up against KT and AQ. Never catch up and I’m out.
Ahhhh well. I actually don’t think I played terrible aside from the fact I usually buy-in deeper ($200+) and possibly let my bad card run affect my decisions. Almost like I felt I deserved to hit that open ender for some reason.
The cards don’t care who deserves what that’s for sure.
Rip apart my play if need be.

a9 on ak5 board. you put yourself into a tough spot with TPWK OOP by building a pretty big pot. the way the hand played out its a fold, i think but i'll have to be there. is he capable of doing this with a pair+draw because I feel like thats what he has here aboyt 60% of the time and you are still not a big favourite but given the odds its a cool. However, the times he has a set or two pair you are drawing slim.
You could check call flop and check turn and see what he does to keep the pot smaller. Maybe check turn after c/r flop? i think he will take a free card with a draw/weaker hand here and bet his monster set so you can lay it cheeper if you think he has it.
how did you lay down 55 to 66 all in? was all this preflop
j10 hand..you dont really have that many chips to be playing these hands because you need to stack a bunch of people for it to be worth it given the large raise preflop. its like 1/6 of your stack might as well push but thats pretty weak hand to do it with so i think i am folding pre.
on the flop with all the odds its a call, as you said, but is that the spot you really want to put yourself in.
i like the first - made flush hand - .
