I'm totally lost in this hand. I just sat down several hands ago, so I don't have any info on this douche bag.
I don't know why I even called the min raise on the turn, praying for a nine maybe. I think there's a very slight chance that my 9 kicker is good, but I can't even beat a weak straight not to mention flush on the river. Sick sick sick. It's not so much that this was a super tough fold, it just makes me sick!
Comments please?

Is this a joke??????? How can you consider folding turn? You have trips against minreraise its not exactly the time to get scared. Raise him back or go to bed. If you just call turn, call river aswell as your inducing a bluff.

What do you expect villain to have here that we beat?

Everything from nothing to something. A minreraise (from a unknown) doesnt define his range, he could have anything from a low pair to a draw, therefor its just unprofitable to fold. Hes just testing the water. Sure people will show monsters, but mostly minreraise=weak-hand and you just cant give up a great hand that easy. A better hand than yours is in his range, but so are 15hand combinations you beat.

Merv potted the flop OOP twice. You really think our opponent is going to flat call the flop with a pair or draw and min raise a pot sized bet on the turn? It makes absolutely no sense. Yeah, if he was raised on the flop we can assume we are ahead, but in my experience a delayed min raise like that is almost always a monster.

I wanted to call, very badly, however, I couldn't just pull a Negreanu and think about it for 5 minutes and throw in the $60,000 (

Fold or shove on turn. I'm more inclined to shove and if he has me beat so be it. If he made a proper raise I'd be more inclined to fold. Plenty of times you'll see a paired Ten or a J2s in villains hand or some shit. If you call, you just give him the free chance at drawing to his hand if he holds 2 hearts or 89, whatever.
I have occasionally folded this kind of hand on river with an Ace kicker, but that's only with a read and more often than not I would expect to have the best hand. I think this is a good examle where indecision on the turn leads to a very tough river choice that you will come out behind of in the long run whatever you do.
