Stars SnG histories
by biggle10 » Tue Dec 12, 2006 11:30 pm
Is there a way to auto import Stars SnG histories for use with PT? Do I have to manually copy them from my hotmail into a text file?
Edit: Nevermind. Figured it out.

PT doesn't work with internet email accounts like yahoo, etc, so I don't think there's an easier solution unfortunately. I guess you could request a tournament summary history for your last 20 tournaments, that way you only get one email. PT can import those.

You can have PT auto request tourney histories as a group as opposed to manually copying each tourney. From there they do need to be copied to a text file.

Really? How? The only way I know of it letting PT do them one at a time.

The point was you can get them as a group, in one email, so you only have to copy the email once instead of a dozen emails separately. But the only way I know of to do this is to request your last xx tournies from the Stars lobby directly.

Click 'Auto request summaries'
Right, but that requests tournament histories one at a time, in separate emails. It sounded like you could automatically get a group of histories in one email from your post.

Just saw this so you may have already figured it out by now but I do:
Request-->Tournament Summaries--> then just enter how many of your last few summaries you want emailed to you.
Its usually instant. Then you copy and paste the text from the email into a text document and have PT import that text document. I think I've done up to 10 at once like that, you can put multiple summaries in one text document. Works for me.
