What a river bet.
Party Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx
Preflop: Hero is BB with :ad, :ah.
UTG calls, MP calls, CO calls, 1 fold, SB completes, Hero raises, UTG calls, MP calls, CO calls, SB calls.
Flop: (10 SB) :3d, :as, :2s (5 players)
SB bets, Hero raises, UTG calls, MP calls, CO folds, SB 3-bets, Hero caps, UTG calls, MP calls, SB calls.
Turn: (13 BB) :td (4 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, UTG folds, MP calls, SB calls.
River: (16 BB) :kd (3 players)
SB bets, Hero calls, MP calls.
Final Pot: 19 BB
Results in white below:
SB has 2c 4h (one pair, twos).
Hero has Ad Ah (three of a kind, aces).

Why you slummin' around at the .5/1 tables Goofy? I know for a fact you are good enough for at least 3/6 if you have the bankroll for it.
BTW, thanks for starting to use the converters. It makes it much easier to read.

Heh, I don't know that. I can barely beat 2/4 full at PokerRoom. I wanted to try some shorthanded hold'em and figured it'd be better to start at the lower limits rather than jump right into 2/4 6-max.

I play $1/$2 limit and I see a lot of players raising with Ax (even A2o) UTG. The other day some nut raised my flop bet (with KK) after pairing his J. He got lucky on the river with a deuce (he had J2o). Flop was J86 and I had the best pair so I played aggressively.
I'm a fish myself but I know to play good starting hands based on position. I can't complain about the donkeys cause they pay me off most of the time by calling my bets.
