Problems with Aim/Trillian ?

I had no problem logging on. Try uninstalling/reinstalling.

Unfortunately, I've had to go back to AIM.
Exactly what did you have to do to get Aim to work independently from Trillian again? I can't seem to get it to cooperate. Very frustrating....

I uninstalled Trillian, and AIM worked just like it used to.
Maybe you should uninstall AIM and Trillian and then reinstall AIM to see what that does.

I am SOL it still is not working. I even went through and deleted every file I could find, restarted then downloaded................. It did not work.
This totally sucks ass. Anyway I am going to have to use Yahoo. I am not going to bother with AIM any longer, they can take this shit and stick it up Steve Case's ass.

Just a note on Trillian.
AIM does not want people using Trillian, or any other piece of software but their own. So every so often they change some settings or servers or whatever so that Trillian doesn't function. It usually only takes the Trillian folks a day or two to catch up, but it does happen every so often.
I'm not so sure this is your problem, though, as you can't get AIM to work either.
