I think it is Hold'em, Omaha, Razz, SevenCardStud, and Eights. Someone can come along and confirm or correct me...maybe Ugig after he wakes up!
Thanks, I know that it involves a bunch of different types of games. I'm not familar with eights and what I don't understand the most is how you can play all of these. Is there some kind of rotation or something.

HORSE
Hold'em...check.
Omaha eight or better. Dealt 4 cards. Split pot game between high and low hands. Must use 2 and exactly 2 cards from your hand. So if you hold As 2h Ts Kc. The board is 346KT. You have a (A2)346 for low and (KT) KT6 for high. Your low must qualify as an 8 or better.
Razz. Seven card stud but worst hand wins. A is low. Straights and flushes are not counted against you. Nuts = A2345.
Stud. Seven card stud. Check.
Stud eight or better. Seven card stud. Split game. Low must qualify just like as in Omaha. Can use different 5 for low than for high.

It's a mixed game (all played at fixed limits) where the following are spread in rotation:
Hold'em
Omaha (Eight or Better)
Razz
Stud (Seven Card)
Eight or Better (Seven stud hi/lo with a qualifier)
On Stars they use a fairly standard torunament setup, where the game changes each level. (In cash games there it changes every orbit of the button.)
If it isn't clear by now, the E is regular high/low split. It's seven card stud, with half the pot going to the high hand, and half to the low hand. The low is scored A-5 and must be an eight or better.
Depending on who shows up, you may or may not be better off in this than forum no-limit events. All of the members are fairly accomplished at that game, some are a bit worse at others. For example, we managed a Draw STT on Pokeroom one weekend and it featured some less than optimal play.
Remember too, that the tournament structure throws a monkey wrench in the works all by itself. As the blinds and antes get to be large you gain some edge against other people. Just like no-limit tournaments, you eventually need to put chips in with a hand you'd fold in a cash game.

In a cash game the game usually changes once every 8 hands which is one orbit at a full table.
In a tourney the game changes at each level. HORSE tournaments are always limit games.

I have never played half those games. So naturally, I'll probably be there to donate 5 bucks.
