Ok, I was drinking but not REALLY drinking.

I played my normal loose game and lost about $30. It seemed like I couldn't get anything going. Every time I tried to steal a pot I got screwed. Every time I made a value bet I got re raised. Every time I raised preflop with a good hand I missed.

Here are some hands:

I straddle. EP raises to $5. 4 people called. I raised all in to $65 with QTo to steal. I get called by 77 and 88 (much better than I expected). 88 flops a set and I have about $15 left. I reload.

Quads.

I'm in the blinds with 55. Button makes it $5, I call, MP1 calls, MP2 calls. Flop is 552. I check, MP1 and MP2 both check, Button goes all in with $28, I call others fold. Shit! I wanted them to catch up a little bit before that happened. They both were loose players with a lot of cash.

It all gets a little fuzzy after that. I must have been drunk when I said I was not drinking.

I ended up with $326 profit.

If I did my math right that is about $10 a drink. That is a damn good DPT rate (Dollars Per Drink). Congratulations!

One more good hand.

I'm in the blinds with A4o and almost everyone is in. Flop comes out 8A8 and I bet out $10; Macha calls and Preacher calls. Turn is an A and I bet $40; Macha calls and Preacher folds. River is a blank and I go all in. I screwed up here because Macha had been having a good night and he had about $300 folded up under his tiny chip stack and covered by a $1 bill. I think I could have gotten another $50 if I'd been paying attention.

He shows his 8 and folds. Then Preacher grabs his cards from the muck and shows an 8. I muck mine without showing and berate them for the rest of the night for folding a full house.

Macha: Show me your ace.
Eruu: Fuck you man. I can't believe you gave me that pot. How can you fold a full house.
Macha: You had the ace.
Eruu: If I ever fold I full house I'll burn this table and quit playing poker.
Juan: He had it.
Preacher: Brother, I know you had it. If I didn't think you had it I'd have called.
