I will never slow play again
by labatsman » Wed May 02, 2007 6:34 am
I hereby promise that I will never slow play a hand again.
Villain had earlier move all in to push me off a hand which he did. I stupidly thought this was my chance to stack him.
If I had pushed earlier I think he still may have called.

I'll rip you apart on two things:
1) Not sitting with a max stack is lame-o
2) A turn minraise is the biggest douchebag move of all time. I HATE that play.

I bet this flop every time. You want to get action from a high spade, straight draw, sets, two pair, etc. If a 4th spade falls all your action is gone.

I'd probably lead out on the flop as well, it's just my M.O.
I agree with Billy, the turn requires more than a min check/raise. Make it expensive man, plus you want to get a lot of value out of the hand too.
