Yes, please.
Why can't villain have
:Ks:? Clearly, Snickers is only slightly ahead on the flop. I say call. Being the fucking man involves making big laydowns and champion calls to wow your opponents into a state of disbelief at your mad skillz.
Obviously, if he has Aces or kings, just draw out on him and the spike the Jack on either the turn or river.

I did it 'to see where I'm at'.
Well then it has to be an easy fold. Nice laydown.

I think this is a pretty weak reason to make a bet.
I would make the bet for value, because I have top two, and fold because I think I'm behind or thin.
The information you gain from betting is pretty weak. If he just calls, he could have second pair, or top pair with a weak kicker, or KJ! You don't know anything new.

I don't think I'd 4bet JJ preflop in FR 10NL without a rock-solid read. (FWIW this would be a 4bet, not a 3bet since Snicks open raised and villain 3bet.)
Postflop I like, I might lead a scoge stronger but regardless I fold to that push. If he's semi-bluffing AKs or AK then good play, but you have to consider that this being 10NL, in a vacuum, most of his PFR range is weighted to QQ+ and AK, in which case you are behind his range. Maybe he's a frisky guy and he's doing it with 99+, AQ+, AJs - you are still only slightly ahead. Hence you need a read that he is 3betting that frequency of hands to call, but in a vacuum it's a fold.

Yeah, if he called...no info. But he didn't just call. He shoved. Information received. If I checked, no info received and I would have no idea what a bet (not a shove) from him meant...whether he was trapping, pushing me out, or just making a standard c-bet.
