It's totally possible he has only one pair here (AJ).
I am calling this bet. The texture of this board warrants caution but not enough to force a fold yet. If he makes another strong bet on the turn I can see getting away from it, but two very probable hands (QQ and AJ) are still factors that you are ahead of. By just calling his reraise preflop you have a small bit of deception with your KK as well. Not to mention, you are getting about 2.5 to 1 odds.
If I'm villain I'm making that bet no matter my holdings, many weak players will just release KK here instead of deal with the hassle of playing a monotone board, which is a mistake.
As for preflop, I don't mind just calling, content to let my position do some work for me, but I agree with BigDil that this is usually a 4 bet situation.

What kind of fucking donkey could this Osiris character be to reraise PF with AJ? We aren't given any specific reads on this cat, nor can we tell how much he has in front of him.
IMO, you have to raise the flop. You really don't know where you stand with KK. Just calling is bad, b/c if he's betting you with AK, holding the
, then he's dictating the hand, while you're currently leading (though, not by much).
I raise his preflop, if not then, definitely on the flop. If he comes over the top, well Jack, you got some serious thinking to do...

He has $27.85, and you can't take AJ out of his range.

Agree. I would probably raise to $1 first (4X +1), then reraise when villain reraises me preflop. And yes, if I was villain, I'd lead out if I flopped a flush.

I continue to play this the wrong way
Turn is
Villain bets $6.00
labatsman: Call $6.00
*** RIVER ***
Villain: Bet $14.85 All in
Hero: Am I pot committed here???
I now see where me raising the flop would have given me more info.

41 in the pot. 15 to call.
2.73 to 1, pretty easy river call, even though I expect to lose.
And, hopefully, mervhage is right and he'd be a real fucking donkey to play AJ like that and he won't turn over trip jacks
