Goal: reach $300 on PS (Mad Money) Updated jan 08 FAILED

Since i been doing bad lately, maybe posting goals will make me concentrate better on poker that way I would feel obligated to reach my goal and not go on tilt. That way if I don't reach it, I'll feel embarassed about it .


Goal: Reach $300 on PS playing SNG's and try to stay away from any other game. Sngs starting at $3 buying
Also bonuses will count towards the $300. Redepositing will be illegal in this goal.

note: I will be posting pictures at the end of each day

good start, only played 3 sngs. Lost 2 of them horribly and placed 1st in the other. Note: I was multitabling.

Got first in a MTT. Was short stack with 3 players left, made my way to the top. Last hand that finish it all was KK, slow played.

While I'm not one to tell people how to spend their money or what to play, I think you probably have a significant risk of ruin playing tournaments on that bankroll. I'd consider instead the .05/.10 limit tables if you actually want to play that up to a reasonable amount.

Of course, if it's just mad money and you want to see how far you can push it, keep us informed! Everyone loves wacky challenges.

But the significant amount for Sngs is at least 30 buy-ins? Am I correct?

I'd guess you'll be fine with 25 buyins if you're a winning player and can step down if you fall below 15. I'm really not qualified to say though, I play cash games 99% of the time.

wow I just 4 tabled $3 tourney, I got 1st, 2nd and 2 4th place finishes.Right on the bubble. Wow it was really hectic, I accidently clicked fold for one of them when I had the winning hand.

Yikes just lost a good $50 on ring games and sngs. Ugh I need to learn how to control myself. Remind me to stay away from high limit ring games.

Probably going to play a home game today, so I might not play Stars today but I should be getting a $50 bonus from Stars.
