100NL TPGK vs. unknown, OOP.. value bet river?

1st hand at table, no reads.
Figured the hand was decent enough to see a flop and play for pot control with a pair or get paid if I hit a str8/flush. As you can see, I made a pretty decent hand but obviously I'm not overly thrilled at being called down.... value bet anyway?
Poker Stars
No Limit Hold'em Cash Game
$0.50/$1 Blinds

LegoPoker HH Converter
SB: $218.20
Hero (BB): $100
UTG: $104.10
CO: $115.40
BTN: $28.95
Preflop: Hero is dealt K
T
(5 Players)
UTG folds, CO raises to $2, BTN folds, SB calls $1.50, Hero calls $1
Flop: ($6) 6
K
J
(3 Players)
SB checks, Hero bets $3, CO calls $3, SB folds
Turn: ($12) 4
(2 Players)
Hero bets $6, CO calls $6
River: ($24) 2

Hmmm, should I bet and how much, guess I'll ask TP

Yeah obviously.
Villain likely has a draw, and you might not even be ahead of better hands than that (better kings a possibility, weaker kings unlikey, jacks unlikely).
I usually check behind in this spot, it's not likely that villain made a second best hand he might pay off with (like a moderate pair) if he was on a draw. If he's got a draw, he's not calling any bets. There aren't a lot of hands you beat that will call, and I don't really think you've lost a lot of value to a jack or a weaker king. I'd rather just take the medium sized pot instead of risking getting raised or donking off to KQ (which will certainly call any reasonable bet).

Thanks guys, I see merits to doing both and I just wanted to make sure it wasn't crystal clear one way or another.
I was on the fence and didn't have any reads to rely on so I went with the safer c/c line. Villain checked behind and mucked....
wait for it....
43s spades?
I don't know if he would have called a river bet or not but I suppose so since he was still in (?)
Needless to say I stayed at that table to take more money from him.

Check/Call, unless he never throws away pairs ever. Pot it if he'll look you up with a busted draw (bluff call an' that).
