crazy story about K.C. Armstrong from the Howard Stern show
by bonneville93 » Thu Apr 05, 2007 5:52 pm
I heard K.C. tell this story, it was re-aired on Sirius from when they were on KROQ.
He was playing Let It Ride online, playing $300 per hand.
He hit a Royal Flush, the payoff was $330,000. Unfortunately for him, GoldenPalace.com (the website he was playing on) wouldn't send him the whole amount, but instead would pay him $4000 per week, until it was paid off, which would be about a year and half. (does anyone know if online gambling sites have caps like this? seems completely unfair to me)
Anyway, he never saw a dime of it, because he gambled it all back!!!
(I'm assuming that this story is true, though one caller did say that they thought it was a fake story, and just a long advertisement for GoldenPalace.com)

I think most online casinos have cashout limits per week and/or month to maintain their cashflow whenever someone makes a big hit like this.
As for advertising for GP... this wouldn't be very positive advertising!

Ever.
Sfu, a smart man, with a nice avatar. He will surely do well.
