Check the flop, you probably aren't good with second pair, and you only beat two of those anyway, so you're looking for action from a 5 or draws. As played, standard fare on the turn against the shortstack. I'm not folding two pair there ever. But check fold flop is gonna be more profitable. Even check calling is better than leading if you really must continue in the hand.

After that I don't see what the problem is.
I agree with the others. Second pair with weak kicker...I would check/fold the flop.
On a side note, calgoing...have you tried .05/.10? I'm also playing .02/.05 and was wondering if there's much difference in the level of play.

25NL is a little tighter than 5 or 10, there is a difference there (thought not huge.) 50NL is where you start having to really adjust because there are so many more (and different types) of aggressive players

I played 50nl back last August, and spent a month there crushing it. Moved up to 100NL in about September, and ran god, then bad, and finall stabalised myself before busting. The play was smarter, less aggro with nothing, more aggro with draws and stuff like that. 200nl has been a shit gong show for me so far, lots of 3 betting, especially from the blinds, almost every pot is raised (if not reraised), not a lot of flops seem to get taken down either, usually either double barrel fold or bet check fold to float bet. Pain in the ass.

The big reason I led out on the flop was the players were fairly passive and I thought I could take it there. It happened enough times for me to think it would work. If that 4 doesn't come, I'm not putting another dime in that pot.
I'm trying to build my bankroll with the .02/.05 tables. I've played .05/.10 and they're more or less the same.

I've moved up to 10NL last month...It's still wild and woolly. Everybody thinks they have to bluff every other hand.
Hugely aggro pre flop. It's cutting down the number of hands I play which should help me.

I'm doing the same, plus I don't have much NL experience. I think I'm going to try to mix in the occasional 10NL table (I usually 2 table). I did so tonight, but it was at the end of my session and I only played one orbit (didn't play any hands). Got teh poker headache (couldn't hit anything all night until the very end), so I'm going to bed.
Sorry to thread-jack!

I would seriously suggest not playing at the nickel tables, and play at 10 NL.
The competition, while still absolutely terrible, is a little less volatile. Every once in a while someone will turn up a hand that actually makes sense with their bet pattern. So often you see a hand you hadn't even considered and are like "wtf was he thinking". This is true every hand at the nickel tables. At 10 NL you don't feel like you're in a hall of mirrors all the time.
Just to keep your sanity. NL 10 is NOT harder to beat than NL 5, and is less volatile (slightly).
