Being so early I vote to check behind on the turn. The flush threat is enough to slow me down. On the river, depending on the bet, I might pay it off but if he's pushing hard, I'd give him credit for the flush and dump it.
Cut your losses if you have to, you still have plenty of chips and time to play poker.

I like it, except I like raising more on the flop. Also, after the 3rd flush card comes out, I am folding to any resistance. In a Party SNG, I push all in on the flop after he bets. This way, there is no risk of being drawn on (at least that you can control). Believe it or not, people will call all-in with flush draws. If they hit, well they hit, that's poker. You were 70% favored to win the hand, and that's something to be happy about.

I think at this point you have to check it and hope you are best. If the 4th diamond pops on the River, well you were probably not meant to win the hand anyways.
It is SO very hard to give up a hand that you know is or was best. I had an almost identical situation happen two days ago, but it was a tad later in the tourney. I had 7-7 and flopped my set. I bet out the pot and got TWO callers. The turn put 3 to the flush AND 3 to a straight on the board. I had already invested half my stack in the hand, but with two callers and the scary board I merely checked it and folded when they bet it out hard. The board paired on the River and one player showed his flush while the other showed a Boat. His boat was bigger than mine would have been, so I was glad I gave it up when I did. Folding that set was the difference between a 2nd place finish and OOM.
