Tight Poker

The GF might not be around much this weekend, so I'm thinking about trying to play a massive amount of poker this weekend. As I've mentioned before, I've been losing interest in online poker, but I'm played a little the past couple of weeks and am starting to get back into it. Without the GF around, looking forward to maybe playing for a nice long stretch on Saturday.

Anybody else with 'big' poker plans for the weekend?

Pretty standard to slow weekend for me since my roommate doesn't have to work.
I usually play my SN freeroll on Sat at 2 pm while playing SNGs. I'll play some on Sunday as well. I need to get my 1000 SNGs in before the end of the month (damn short month) so I need to put some time in.

I am leaving for a wrestling gig in NB early Saturday morning, returning late Sunday, so not much online poker for me this weekend.

I have to ask, how the hell do you play 1000 a month?

I eight table now. Mon-Thurs I play 50 games a night after work (~ 4 hours w/ a break) and I play enough on the weekend to get the rest in. I treat it just like a job (except I enjoy it for the most part).

That's great that you can play that many! nh

I plan on playing a few thousand hands during the evenings this weekend. Lost a quick buy in by hitting AK twice and losing to T7 and 66, so I hope it was just a fluke for tonight.

You know it! Looking forward to Niagara. But if this weekend is like all the other weekends where I would plan on spending a lot of time playing poker, I'll lose a bunch in the first 5 minutes and give up. :oops:
