Ok, it may be clear that some of you are never folding here, but do you not think that this is a slightly sucky situation to be in? Does anyone play the hand differently up until the turn?

OK, then. Check/fold obviously.

Fold preflop! He obviously has QQ.
Ha, no, just go all in for reals.

Time to shove on the turn... The ONLY hand that beats you on the flop is QQ... On the turn the villian could have a straight, but that is where reads and putting him on a hand comes in... Minus a great read, shove... Anything else is kinda weak...
If you're going to play NL than you must be willing to risk it all and deal with the results. If you made a decision based on your read and you are wrong, fuck it, it happens to everyone. Rebuy and move on... To me, this seems like a great spot to double up...

You have big nuts pooooooooooooooooooooosh
If he was stupid enough to call with KT then I guess we hope the river pairs the board. The whole thing looks very standard, no problems whatsoever. If that guy is really that big a fish to commit that much PF w/ KT or T8 it's definitely buddy-list time.

Personally I like any line that gets all the money in the middle.

Yeah, I shoved the turn, and he called and showed me T8 hearts for the straight. I didn't improve, and I can stand the loss, but I ended up putting in a lot of money when I was behind, which is why I am uncomfortable with this hand. Randy, I think even with a read that the guy was drawing, it's still impossible not to shove, as he could have been drawing at a flush and not a straight, so folding here is always weak I guess. At the moment, these are just not usually good spots to double up it seems
The only other line I can think of are open shoving the flop, does anyone ever do that and managed to get called? I really don't want to risk trying to checkraise all in. Probably I am being too critical of myself, but I feel really poor about putting over half a stack in while behind, it makes it not feel like a badbeat or cooler to me. The money I can handle, it is still playing with profit (though at this rate it soon won't be lol), but I can't help but question these plays when every player seems to be getting out of the way of my own monsters or outdrawing them, and thus, inevitably a fair chunk of cash is going in when I am behind, a la this hand.

Lol, look at the history on the flop, I thought the first player (pf reraiser) may have flopped a set of Queens when he checked the flop. As soon as he checked I thought to myself " why the fck did you call preflop, I am always doing this and getting into the shit lately", not that I'll ever stop probably

Ya dude..... I think you're being a little too results oriented. Are you really going to be folding the turn here ever? The
is a scary card. An offsuit 9? Not so much. Shit happens.-

To quote myself. You aren't paying off a flush, so this guy was basically drawing to a 3-outter minus runner runner crap. Consider it a bad beat
